American Institute for Research Site Kickoff
College Bound is ecstatic to announce that our newest site, American Institute for Research (AIR), opened successfully on Thursday, January 26, 2012 with fifteen student-mentor pairs with more to be added next school year. Students, mentors and parents were excited as they were greeted by, Rita Kirshstein, Managing Director for AIR and Kenneth Ward, Executive Director for College Bound. After the welcome remarks, the pairs were announced and allow time to meet each other for the first time, initiating what we hope will be a lifelong relationship. College Bound would like to thank AIR for this great opportunity and for being a longtime supporter of the program. As College Bound grows, so does the chances that DC area students will graduate and matriculate into college.
